2021 – Year of the Ox

We are fast approaching Spring Festival, and a reminder to our customers and contacts that Chinese New Year falls on Friday 12th February 2021, and the most of our suppliers are already in the process of scaling back their output in preparation for the holiday.

The majority of factories are expected to return by 22nd February.

The Ox is the second animal of the Zodiac, having been craftily beaten by the Rat that hitched a ride in the race across the river, but this gives the Ox a reputation of being a dependable hard worker, one that is intelligent and does not require high praise. Careers are linked to doctors and lawyers.

You are an Ox if you were born in the lunar years of 1973, 85 and 97, and here is everything you need to know about yourself if you are an Ox;

Compatible with: Rat, Snake and Rooster.
Incompatible with: Goat, Horse and Dog.
Lucky numbers: 1 and 4  (avoid 3, 6)
Lucky colour: Blue and Yellow  (avoid Red)

From all of the team at OnePointTwo, we’d like to wish a Happy New Year (in Mandarin: sshin-nyen kwhy-ler) to our Chinese colleagues and friends.

We appreciate that travel and celebrations will be difficult this year, and we really look forward to global normality.
